St Paul’s Parish newsletter ‘Connect’ -  Copies of the summer edition are available at the back of church.

A Tidy Garden for the Tea Party - The Gardening Team is planning an extra session on Saturday 23rd June to make the garden look as good as possible for the Summer Tea Party and would welcome some extra help to weed, edge and generally tidy.  If you cannot garden but could make tea/coffee that would be great.  Just turn up at 10am or contact Moreen.

Summer Tea Party  -  Come along on Saturday 30th June for fun, games and tea in the church grounds (weather permitting, otherwise in church & halls) between 3pm and 5pm.  Please feel free to invite friends and neighbours to this event.  There are flyers and posters available at the back of church.

Richard and Sue Algeo’s new address: Ivy Cottage, Back Lane, East Clandon, Guildford, GU4 7SD.

St Paul's Book Club - Do join us on Tuesday morning 3rd July from 10.30am - 12 noon to discuss "The Silver Pigs" by Lindesey Davis.

Plea from Sunday Squad – We are looking for someone to join the team and help coordinate the amazing work our volunteers do in Sunday Squad.  If you are able to help put the termly rota together, and occasionally lead the teaching slot, we would be delighted to hear from you!  This is a great opportunity to support both our children's work and our wonderful volunteers.  If you are interested, or to find out more, please see Marion Blakely.

New Verger Wanted - We are looking to appoint a new part-time verger.  Please speak to Rev. Simon or Anne H for further details.

Tea & Coffee – Many thanks to the Park Homegroup for serving tea and coffee today.  Next week Townswomen’s Guild will be on duty.

Mission of the Month –  Deptford Reach

Deptford Reach helps people transform and rebuild their lives, by providing expert advice on issues such as housing, drugs and alcohol dependency, mental ill-health and welfare benefits.

‘We pray for any who are anxious, wearied, burdened, overwhelmed, in a dark place and suffering from mental health issues.  In their brokenness heal them Lord.  Be with those who live in the depths of depression; continue to cherish them all when they find it so difficult to cherish themselves.  Enable the professionals who help them weather the storms and turmoil.  We pray for your peace for their hearts and minds.’
