Forthcoming Events

St Paul's Book Club
Tuesday 4th September, 10.30am.  We will be discussing @A Gentleman in Moscow@ by Amor Towles. Do come and join us!  We meet on the first Tuesday morning of every month.  (Please check the venue with the Church Office.)

St Paul’s Community Choir - Our choir resumes on Thursday 6th September at 7.30pm in the church hall.  We shall rehearse Handel's 'Messiah' - part 1 - for a performance on Saturday 24th November. New recruits are always very welcome to our friendly choir and there are no auditions.  Music will be provided.  Further details from David Storey (020 8663 9441).

Families Together - Thursday 13 September, 3.45 - 6pm
Our fun after-school activity for younger children with their parents and carers, with games, crafts and a shared meal.  Cost £2.50/child.

Coffee, Theology and Discussion - Interested in theology?  Want to learn more about the Christian faith?  In the Autumn we will be running an 8-week introductory course on Christian theology.  This is a perfect opportunity to reflect on the core themes and doctrines of our faith, in a relaxed, non-threatening environment.  All are welcome on this course, based on Professor Alister McGrath's helpful little book, Theology: The Basics.   Dates: Tuesday evenings, 25th September – 20th November (with a break for the half term).  Do ask Rev. Simon for more info.  There is a sign up sheet available at the back of church, or via  administrator@stpaulbeckenham.org.uk

International Evening – Saturday 29th September, from 5pm.  Save the date for St Paul’s International Evening, to be held on our harvest weekend at the end of September.  Please start thinking about what sort of dish you could bring to the Bring & Share supper, and what national dress you could wear.
